I have been on DA for several years. I have an active account besides this one. I am one of those bastards who have multiples. The reason why I decided to split my galleries is because.. In my other one; I found myself not uploading peices because they were not 'technically' masterpeices.
On this account, I want to see if I can make a person feel something; maybe even taste my nostalgia or distaste that I feel for a photo. Or digital manipulation. Or drawing. Any artistic medium.
I found myself looking only for the sure hits; the obviously technically pleasing in my stash of artsy bits. The fact that the same photo had no feeling to it didnt matter anymore; all that mattered was the page veiws and stacks of comments and lists of strange people who 'friend' you and then never hear from again.
Thats not what my art was to me, it isnt what I want it to be to me; so I made this account to sort of..break free. From the constrictions I placed on myself in the other one.
